{a poem from summer…a photo from winter}
Let it bleed from me the water, the chill
and my youth
let it imprint on me brown spots
like footprints
walk all over my naked arms
kiss my cheeks; singe my nose
bake me in blazing bliss.
When my body is cooked
and my soft insides are only ash
you will serve me up at a banquet
in celebration of the photons
I so loved.
